Job Title: Hardware Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Hardware Technician to support our Electrical Engineering team in testing new products during the development cycle. This role requires a proactive individual with basic electrical engineering and hardware skills, as well as familiarity with using test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Electrical Engineering team with testing new products in the development cycle.
• Read schematics and perform board-level troubleshooting.
• Conduct wiring, soldering, and assembly tasks.
• Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and source meters.
• Work interchangeably with different engineering teams to ensure tasks are completed.
• Display initiative and communicate effectively with team members.

Essential Skills

• Basic EE/Hardware skills (reading schematics, board-level troubleshooting, wiring, soldering, assembly).
• Familiarity with using test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and source meters).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work interchangeably with different engineering teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's Degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working with hardware and test equipment in an engineering environment.

Work Environment

This role requires working onsite in a lab/office environment for 5 days a week. The position offers the opportunity to interact with and learn from experienced engineering professionals. No travel is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
