Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in assembly operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing solutions and provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements.
• Apply process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Use appropriate tools to perform necessary work, including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production.
• Demonstrate a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how to support the full manufacturing processes and product requirements and specifications.
• Execute responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and manufacturing processes.
• Provide support to direct production line operators.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year completed of an Associate's degree OR the completion of a diploma in a discipline related to Electronics, Manufacturing, or Engineering
• One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred
• Mechanical inclination

Work Environment

The work environment includes two openings on 1st shift (5:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday) and one opening on 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday) with an additional $1.50/hour for shift differential. Overtime is sometimes required during busy times, approximately 1-2 times per month, where individuals would work the same hours on Friday and get paid 1.5x. This is decided at least 1.5 weeks ahead of time and communicated to the technician team. The production floor is for large industrial products, including Alpatronic EV Charging Stations, parts for construction vehicles, and electronic drinking water devices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
