Hiring A Part Time Phlebotomist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part Time Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with phlebotomy, including the use of straight needles and butterfly needles for challenging blood draws. This role involves working in a patient service center, where you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles for difficult sticks.
• Draw blood from infants and pediatric patients.
• Process and handle blood specimens according to established protocols.
• Ensure the proper identification and labeling of blood samples.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide excellent patient care and address any patient concerns.

Essential Skills

• Phlebotomy experience
• Proficiency with straight needles
• Experience with infant and pediatric blood draws
• Strong blood specimen processing skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with drawing blood is ideal but less experience will be considered.

Work Environment

This role is based in a very small patient service center. The shift hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 1pm, and every other Saturday from 7:30am to 1:30pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00
