Job Title: Hydraulic Project Manager

Job Description

Become a part of our growing hydraulic design team! This position is expected to be based in either our Durham or Raleigh, NC offices. You will be instrumental in engineering design and analysis for some of the region's most high-profile projects. This role demands strong technical skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, a commitment to client satisfaction, and the capability to manage both projects and people.

Required Skills

• Professional Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in linear transportation drainage design, bridge/culvert design, and erosion control design.
• Proficiency in various hydrologic and hydraulic analysis software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HY-8, GEOPAK Drainage, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, HydroCAD).
• Experience with floodplain modeling, No-Rise certifications, and Conditional Letters of Map Revision (CLOMRs).
• Strong verbal written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microstation, Civil3D, and/or OpenRoads Designer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with NCDOT and/or SCDOT design projects.
• Experience with floodplain mapping.
• NCDOT Level III Erosion Control Design Certification.
• Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM).

Work Environment

The individual will have the option of sitting in their Raleigh or Durham NC offices. This is an opportunity with an employee-owned firm who has years of back log work for sought after projects in the local regional markets. This company has exceptional benefits and WFH flexibility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

Company Paid Health Insurance, 401k 3% Contribution, PTO 3 Weeks, HOL - 9 Days.

WFH - Yes, 2 Days Home, 3 Days In Flexibility. Prefer In Office
Continued Edu. - Yes
