Job Title: Chemist II

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chemist II to join our team in a regulated GLP bioanalysis environment. This is a 100% on-site position that plays a critical role in supporting regulated clinical and non-clinical studies using HPLC-MS to quantify analyte concentrations in biological samples. The assignment is initially for 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bioanalytical sample analysis using HPLC-MS.
• Perform general lab tasks including lab safety, solution preparations, and using balances, pH meters, pipettes, and other instruments.
• Utilize bioanalytical extraction techniques and instrumentation such as PPT, LLE, and SPE.
• Process and analyze data using SCIEX Analyst.
• Maintain good documentation practices in accordance with ALCOA principles.
• Ensure compliance with GLP and other regulatory requirements.
• Work with Laboratory Information Management Systems.
• Collaborate effectively in a group setting within a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

• 2 years of bioanalytical sample analysis using HPLC-MS.
• Proficiency in HPLC-MS data processing and analysis with SCIEX Analyst.
• Strong general lab skills including lab safety, solution preparations, and instrument usage.
• Knowledge of bioanalytical extraction techniques and instrumentation such as PPT, LLE, and SPE.
• Good documentation skills adhering to ALCOA principles.
• Familiarity with GLP/GCLP requirements.
• Experience with electronic systems.
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related science with 2-5 years of lab experience, or a Master's degree.
• Bioanalytical method development and validation experience.
• Hands-on experience with automation equipment and robotic pipettors.

Work Environment

This is a 100% on-site role within a group setting, operating in a fast-paced environment with a strong team culture. The work involves supporting regulated clinical and non-clinical studies using HPLC-MS to quantify analyte concentrations in biological samples. The position follows a Monday to Friday, 1st shift schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
