Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to enhance operational efficiency, optimize manufacturing processes, and improve production workflows. This role focuses on reducing waste, increasing productivity, and ensuring quality standards through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. The Industrial Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline production layouts, improve material flow, and implement Lean manufacturing principles while supporting overall business goals.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
- Design and implement Lean Manufacturing principles, such as 5S, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Develop and optimize plant layouts and workstation designs for improved workflow and safety.
- Identify and implement automation and technology improvements to enhance production performance.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
- Experience with AutoCAD, ERP systems (QAD preferred), and simulation software.
- Strong knowledge of work measurement, time studies, and workflow analysis.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and lead change initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work across multiple departments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years in industrial engineering, process improvement, or manufacturing operations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $52.88/hr.
