Job Title: Interior Designer

Job Description

We are a medium-sized construction firm based in the Grand Rapids market, specializing in medium-sized projects up to 10 million dollars primarily in West Michigan. Our work mainly consists of multifamily apartment buildings, with repeat business in medical and small industrial buildings. We are seeking an Interior Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of new projects through detailed drawings and designs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed architectural drawings for new projects using Revit or AutoCAD.
• Develop shop drawings, layouts, red lines, construction documents, and renderings.
• Collaborate with a team of architects to ensure the accuracy and quality of designs.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Engage in space planning and interior architecture for various projects.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 4 years of experience in commercial construction architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SketchUp, space planning, and rendering.
• Knowledge of interior design and architectural drafting.

Work Environment

Our office is located downtown in Grand Rapids along the river, offering a spacious and collaborative work environment. You will be part of a team of four architects, working together to complete large multifamily projects in West Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $37.00/hr.
