Lab Technician
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming cancer tissue specimens, as well as isolating, purifying, and formulating cancer single-cell populations to produce patient-specific autologous vaccines. This role requires proficiency in utilizing basic laboratory equipment and performing various cell culture techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming cancer tissue specimens and apheresis collections.
- Isolate, purify, and formulate cancer single-cell populations to produce patient-specific autologous vaccines.
- Utilize basic laboratory equipment including incubators, centrifuges, biological safety cabinets, water baths, etc.
- Seed, passage, monitor, and harvest cancer cell populations to facilitate the expansion of initial specimen collections.
- Seed, passage, monitor, and harvest T-Cell cultures.
- Conduct various lab activities such as prepping, loading on plates, and sterilizing items.
Skills and Competencies:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in a related life-science (Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.)
- 1-3 years of experience preferred. Entry level candidates with relevant academic research and/or laboratory experience are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in aseptic technique in the laboratory and microbiology lab techniques.
- Experience with cell culture techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
