Lab Technician (Night and Day Shift)

Location: Onsite in Rhode Island

Shift Details:

• Night Shift: Two-week schedule with the opportunity for overtime every other week. Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM.
• Day Shift: Two-week schedule with the opportunity for overtime every other week. Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle materials, including moving materials between areas, cleaning raw materials, retrieving and storing inventory, and operating electric pallet jacks and potentially tuggers.
• Familiarize with and adhere to gowning procedures and hygiene/cleaning requirements.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
• Report any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety.
• Ensure quality compliance through a Right First-Time mentality.
• Receive and prepare components for use in manufacturing.
• Feed components into equipment and perform sanitation activities.
• Document appropriate paperwork, understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)/performance metrics, and participate in daily performance meetings.
• Use pallet jacks and manually wrap pallets.
• Utilize computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch record.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities.
• Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation.

Essential Skills:

• Prior industry experience, preferably in clean room environments such as pharmaceuticals, hospitals, or other controlled settings.
• Familiarity with gowning procedures and hygiene/cleaning requirements.
• Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training systems (no specialized software knowledge required).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
