What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Actalent?
Job Description
The technician will be responsible for all stages of testing on a daily basis once trained and will go where needed. This includes completing either wet chemistry or analytical testing techniques on refinery samples, inbound samples, outbound samples, and in-process samples. The technician will also be trained and required to perform wastewater testing.
Responsibilities include:
- Testing refinery samples, inbound samples, outbound sampled, and in-process samples.
- Conduct wastewater testing.
- Work with both ICP and GC.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and quality control testing.
- Perform data entry and documentation of test results.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Work both independently and collaboratively as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- 1 year of laboratory experience
- Exposure to ICP and Gas Chromatography
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.96 - $24.96
