Actalent is hiring a Quality Assurance Lab Technician!

Job Description

• Make and sterilize media for testing
• Enforce all food safety and quality procedures.
• Weekly and monthly plant environmental testing 
• Maintain calibration for all lab equipment 
• Responsible for taking samples from production and running various testing on raw and finished product.
• Evaluate incoming ingredients for conformance with product specifications.
• Perform inspection activities and testing to ensure continuous control over production specifications throughout the production cycle.
• Inspect blending and bottling operations for conformance to process and packaging specifications.
• Determine Brix-Acid Ratio (BAR) and oil levels in product blends.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory settings.
• Ability to perform wet chemistry, titration, and analytical chemistry.
• Knowledge of batch record maintenance.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations.
• Experience in chemistry, biology, quality assurance, or food science.

Work Environment

• You will be working in a lab and manufacturing environment.
• The role involves using various lab equipment and adhering to safety and quality standards.
• The work environment is dynamic and requires attention to detail and compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday (5pm - 1am)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
