Job Title: Laboratory Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking two dedicated laboratory assistants to support our testing team. The successful candidates will assist in sample preparation, manage sample data, and perform lab testing to ensure timely and accurate results.

Responsibilities

• Assist with incoming sample preparation, managing a high volume of samples
• Weigh samples and assist with plating
• Enter sample data into management systems in a timely manner
• Complete lab testing on all incoming samples and ensure sample turnaround goals are met
• Verify results and submit results for transmission
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Skills

• Experience with sample preparation and lab testing
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Effective multitasking skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills

Work Environment

The position is based in a lab setting where you will be standing on your feet for extended periods and handling a high volume of samples. Overtime is required. The shift schedule is Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday 11am-8pm with OT

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
