Job Title: Laboratory Processor

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Laboratory Processor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for unboxing, sorting, and ensuring the quality of specimens. You will also be processing incoming laboratory specimens, labeling, and relabeling them. This is a very heavy processing role, and you will not be required to touch anything else in the lab.

Responsibilities

• Unbox and sort specimens ensuring their quality.
• Process incoming laboratory specimens efficiently.
• Label and relabel specimens accurately.

Essential Skills

• Experience working with medical specimen
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic lab practices.
• Bachelor of Science degree

Work Environment

You will work in General Processing in a medical lab. This is a contract-only position, with the potential for an extension. The schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, from 9:30 am to 6 pm. The work environment is sterile and clean, and the dress code requires solid-colored scrubs and closed-toed shoes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
