We are currently hiring for multiple Laboratory Sanitation/Sterilization Technicians in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment. This is a long-term, career opportunity and will initially include 10 days of PTO and 11 holidays. This role will primarily focus on keeping the cleanroom laboratory sterilized and will have to fully gown up when going in and out of rooms.

We are looking for someone with at least 6 months - 1 years of experience working in a sterilization, sanitation, or similar cleaning environment that requires the use of PPE and/or following heavy regulations (examples may include sanitation in manufacturing or GMP regulated environments, cleaning in certain hospital settings, sterile processing, etc.). Experience MUST include the use of PPE and/or following strict regulations.

Shift: 2nd Shift, 1pm - 9:30pm, Monday - Friday

Description:

• The Laboratory Sanitation Technician plays a critical role in assuring sanitary conditions of the controlled areas of manufacturing pharmaceuticals and related medical products.
• Performs sanitary cleaning duties of equipment and working stations, ensuring that everything meets necessary regulations.
• Keep the cleanroom sterilized so nothing gets cross contaminated in the pharmaceuticals.
• Maintains accurate and complete inventory of cleaning supplies ensuring supplies are never depleted.
• Trains and oversees other Aseptic Cleaners.
• Performs other oversight duties.

Qualifications:

• MUST have at least a high school diploma or GED.
• MUST have at least 6 months - 1 year of experience performing sanitation or cleaning in a regulated environment or other experience in a cleanroom/sterilized room (examples could include working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or something that might be similarly regulated).
  • Regular janitorial experience without regulated experience and strict PPE requirements would not meet the qualifications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
