Job Title: LabVIEW Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled LabVIEW Test Engineer to develop innovative solutions for end-of-line test equipment to support existing and new product introductions. You will support LabVIEW development for the evaluation of new products and work closely with a cross-functional engineering team to coordinate the release of new products. Your analytical and software problem-solving skills will be key in troubleshooting electro-mechanical test systems and equipment, optimizing their utilization and effectiveness. Additionally, you will support manufacturing by improving uptime in assembly cells through enhancements to established equipment and suggesting improvements to manufacturing test equipment. You will also specify and/or generate design documentation for new product introductions.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solutions for end-of-line test equipment.
• Support LabVIEW development for the evaluation of new products.
• Coordinate the release of new products with a cross-functional engineering team.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical test systems and equipment.
• Optimize the utilization and effectiveness of test systems.
• Support manufacturing by improving uptime in assembly cells.
• Suggest improvements to manufacturing test equipment.
• Specify and generate design documentation for new product introductions.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of LabVIEW experience.
• 3 years of experience with SQL Server database.
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot hardware, including sensors, encoders, proxy sensors, and photosensors.
• Proficiency in C and SQL.
• Experience with hardware and data analysis in the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes and CANalyzer.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of end-of-line test equipment.
• Strong analytical and software problem-solving skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
