Job Title: Land Development Engineer (EIT)

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Land Development Department. This position offers an opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment where you will play a vital role in designing utilities, roadways, erosion control, and grading projects. You will assist project managers and collaborate with CAD Technicians to generate accurate and detailed engineering site and subdivision plans. Additionally, you will communicate with staff, clients, contractors, and the general public to address engineering or construction-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Design utilities, roadways, erosion control, and grading projects.
• Develop engineering site and subdivision plans.
• Assist project managers with project tasks.
• Collaborate with CAD Technicians to produce detailed plan production work.
• Communicate with staff, clients, contractors, and the general public on engineering or construction-related issues.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with land development, stormwater, and drainage.
• Knowledge of civil design and site development.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• EIT designation preferred.
• Commitment to the company's mission and values.
• Residential design experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Our team consists of 50 technical staff members and 3 principal engineers. You will assist Project Managers and work closely with CAD Technicians to generate accurate and detailed plans. This position involves regular communication with staff, clients, contractors, and the general public regarding engineering or construction issues. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
