Job Title: Landscape Architect
Job Description
A Landscape Architect assists in the planning, design, and development of outdoor spaces. They work under the supervision of senior landscape architects to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing site plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs and plans.
- Conduct site analysis and environmental impact assessments.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements.
- Select appropriate materials, such as plants and paving materials.
- Monitor project progress to ensure it adheres to design plans.
- Prepare and present reports and proposals to clients.
Essential Skills
- Proficient skill and experience with AutoCAD
- Proficient skill and experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Understanding of landscape architecture design and methods
- Attention to detail
- A team player that is committed to a collaborative design process
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to manage tasks and time to maintain project schedules
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture
- 2 years of hands-on experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with federal, state, and local codes and permitting requirements
- Knowledge and experience assisting with assembling construction document packages
- Knowledge and experience using 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience using ArcGIS software
- Exceptional hand graphics and sketching ability
- Exceptional horticultural knowledge
Work Environment
Allow hybrid work after 6 months (up to 2 days a week) during the learning period. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility. The company offers a structured profit-sharing system, including end-of-year reviews for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses based on time with the company.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

at employee’s cost.
