Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Planning, Development and Natural Resources (PDNR) team in Charlotte as a Landscape Architect. If you want to work at a company that will help you become the best you can be, we’re glad you found us. You will provide technical and design services in support of land (site) development projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary evaluations
- Prepare various reports
- Produce design drawings
- Prepare technical specifications
- Prepare permit submittals for landscape architecture and civil engineering projects
- Work as part of a project team
- Responsible for various tasks on several concurrent projects
- Follow tasks through to completion within the allocated time and budget
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
- NC Registered Landscape Architect
- 2-3 years of experience in land (site) development
- Technical competency
- Team player
- Good communication skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Civil 3D
- Experience with Sketchup
- Experience with Photoshop
Work Environment
You will be working in a collaborative team environment, utilizing technologies such as Civil 3D, Sketchup, and Photoshop. The position involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines, and working within budget constraints. Business casual attire is expected.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
