Job Title: Level 2- QC Analyst (EM)

Job Description

We are seeking a Level 2 QC Analyst with a focus on Environmental Monitoring (EM). The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clean room or GMP environment, performing micro sampling, personnel sampling, and surface plating. This role involves significant EM training, equipment monitoring, and analyzing and reading plates after incubation. The candidate will be responsible for testing active air viables, passive air viables, and surface viables, and will work extensively on the MODA database.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring in a clean room or GMP environment.
• Conduct micro sampling, personnel sampling, and surface plating.
• Work with the MODA database for data management.
• Undergo extensive EM training.
• Monitor and maintain equipment used in environmental monitoring.
• Analyze and read plates after incubation.
• Test for active air viables, passive air viables, and surface viables.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of environmental monitoring experience.
• Experience working in an aseptic or GMP environment.
• 3-4 years of experience with sampling, personnel monitoring, and surface plating.
• Proficiency in aseptic techniques and basic microbiology knowledge.
• Experience with air/water samples, surface plating, and cleanroom standards.
• Knowledge of SOPs, cell culture, quality control, swabbing, microbiology, and ISO standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field.
• Proficiency in microbiology techniques.
• Gowning certification.
• Experience with cleaning, incubation, sub culturing, working with microorganisms, plating, cell counts, and gram staining.

Work Environment

The role involves working within a clean room aseptic environment and requires monitoring the clean room. The candidate must complete a gowning qualification to effectively perform the job. The shift for this position is Wednesday to Saturday, 2nd shift (3 pm to 2 am). Initial training will be conducted on the first shift, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm, lasting 4-6 weeks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
