Job Title: Registered Nurse - Primary Care
Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for a busy Primary Care Office in Bridgeport, CT. The ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. This role requires 2 years of experience and an active Connecticut RN license. Epic experience is highly preferred. Bilingual- Spanish (must have)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and patient education.
- Conduct triage and assessment of patients.
- Utilize electronic health records to document patient information.
- Perform EKGs and assist with stress tests.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Maintain honesty and integrity in all patient interactions.
- Speak up if something is wrong and maintain a positive attitude.
Essential Skills
- 2 years of RN experience.
- Active CT RN License.
- Experience with medical terminology.
- Proficiency in electronic health records.
- Experience in patient care and patient education.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Epic systems.
- Experience in triaging.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
Work Environment
The position is based in a busy Primary Care Office with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The work environment is fast-paced and requires a friendly and reliable individual who works well under stress. The team consists of various healthcare professionals dedicated to providing comprehensive care.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
