Description
-Engages in patient care within the legal boundaries of practical nursing, under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN).
-Contributes to the creation and execution of care plans for geriatric patients, supervised by an RN.
-Provides patient care as directed by an RN, adhering to departmental protocols. May be assigned roles such as team leader, primary nurse, or charge nurse, under RN supervision.
-Oversees and manages non-professional staff as designated.
-Monitors, documents, and communicates patient information in line with departmental policies.
-Participates in unit nursing activities and interdisciplinary team efforts.
-Administers medications and performs nursing tasks according to departmental guidelines.
-Attends in-service training and participates in departmental committees as required.
-Performs various related duties as instructed. In emergencies, may undertake unrelated tasks as necessary.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.65 - $35.65/hr.
