Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer will be supporting the New Product Introduction (NPI) department with new launches - validating their manufacturability.
- Design fixtures and gauges from concept to implementation
- Create Bill of Materials (BOMs) to accurately plan/budget project costs
- Utilize MS Word to create complex process documents - formatting from an engineering perspective
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross functional departments
MUST HAVES:
- 3 Years of manufacturing/mechanical engineering experience
- Advanced in Solidworks and MS Word
- Ability to design fixtures and gauges from concept to implementation
- Basic machining background
- B.S in an engineering discipline
NICE TO HAVES:
- Aerospace industry experience supporting Big 3 OEMs of aircraft engines (GE, Rolls Royce or Pratt and Whitney)
- Experience working with supporting departments such as welding, brazing, quality, machining (Lathe)
- EDM experience
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00
