What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineer position at Actalent?
Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing requirements for machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings.
- Support shop floor in trouble-shooting process and quality problems.
- Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for equipment.
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase LEAN techniques.
- Implement cost reductions within manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial)
- 5 Years industry experience
- Ability to collaborate
- LEAN manufacturing techniques
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
