Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer with experience in electroplating processes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dynamic startup where you can make a significant impact and help set up new production processes for New Product Introduction (NPI). You will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment, travel internationally, and grow within the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes with a focus on electroplating.
- Utilize knowledge of chemical properties, plating solutions, and materials science in daily operations.
- Work closely with other engineers, quality assurance, technicians, inspectors, and assemblers.
- Implement process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage manufacturing operations and ensure efficient production workflows.
- Prepare and maintain work instructions, BOMs, and process documentation.
- Conduct SPC analysis and participate in 8D problem-solving processes.
- Utilize ERP systems, with a strong preference for SAP.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing processes, preferably with a focus on electroplating.
- Strong knowledge of chemical properties, plating solutions, and materials science.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in managing manufacturing operations.

- Highly organized with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with manufacturing laboratory equipment.
- Knowledge of process approach, risk management, continuous improvement, and ISO 9001 quality management system (preferred).
- Prior SAP experience preferred, but not required.
Work Environment
This role requires the ability to function in a startup environment where you will need to wear multiple hats. You will be working in an ITAR regulated, ISO 9001 certified facility that is moving towards AS9100 certification. You will collaborate closely with a team of manufacturing engineers, quality assurance professionals, technicians, inspectors, and assemblers. The company currently has 60 employees and is looking to grow to 100 in the next 3-4 years. There will be opportunities for international travel, including trips to Germany.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $950000.00
