Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

On Site - St. George, UT - 9 month contract

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production and high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have experience in SolidWorks, ERP systems, and fabrication/welding, and will be adept at improving workflows, planning equipment layouts, and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes needed to produce products efficiently.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Provide technical support for plant layout, purchase of equipment, upgrade of equipment, and feasibility studies.
• Investigate non-conformances using a variety of methods and manage the implementation of corrective actions to improve product quality.
• Create and maintain work instructions and procedure documentation.
• Support the estimation of set-up and run times for all manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical assistance and training for operations and develop standard operating procedures.
• Lead and direct general machine improvements, redesigns, and installations.
• Conduct direct labor studies and establish standards on operations, set up, and workstation layout.
• Identify areas of unnecessary cost and research methods and procedures for cost reduction.
• Design specialized equipment to automate manufacturing processes.
• Design jigs and fixtures to support the manufacture of new and existing products.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Manufacturing engineering expertise
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Fusion with 2 years of experience
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Syteline, with 2 years of experience
• Fabrication and welding skills with 2 years of experience
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr.
