Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work on the production floor, analyzing the flow of production, the efficiency of machines, and identifying bottlenecks. They will be responsible for determining root cause issues and prioritizing the flow of production to enhance overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production flow and machine efficiency to identify bottlenecks.
• Determine root cause issues and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
• Design specifications for product components to improve operational, cost, quality, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables and product process requirements are met.
• Prioritize and implement process improvements and continuous improvement strategies.
• Lead the manufacturing floor to achieve maximum efficiency and alignment in all aspects.

Essential Skills

• Experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, and process engineering.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, machining, and automation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and ensure deliverables are met.
• Proficiency in PFMEA, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of specific functions of each process step.
• Ability to identify possible failure modes and analyze their impact on the overall process.
• Skill in determining root causes of each failure mode and evaluating risks.
• Experience in implementing actions to reduce or eliminate identified risks.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position located in Stead. The manufacturing environment is clean and experiences low turnover. The company offers 6 holidays and 1 week of vacation. This role provides an opportunity to lead and drive significant changes in process efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $55.28/hr.
