About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our engineering and sciences services, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot production equipment and process problems to optimize manufacturing efficiency
- Perform IQ, OQ, and PQ studies of new equipment, tooling, and processes to contribute to technical innovation
- Develop and document product manufacturing methods and processes to ensure quality and compliance
- Train production staff in new or revised manufacturing processes to maintain a skilled workforce
- Support maintenance and repair of production equipment, fixtures, and tooling to minimize downtime
- Create, revise, and review material and product specifications and manufacturing documentation to ensure accuracy
- Serve as a technical resource for vendor and material selection and evaluation to ensure compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering or a related technical field
- 1-2 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to maintain ongoing compliance in an environment regulated by Quality System Regulations and the Medical Device Directive
