Job Description
The Manufacturing Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting safety within the plant, reviewing safety programs for three areas (LOTO, risk assessments, and Electrical Safety), and spending significant time in the production areas to ensure compliance with safety programs. The role involves writing new procedures for the program, assessing compliance of procedures, and performing risk assessments.
Responsibilities
- Support safety within the plant.
- Review and update safety programs for LOTO, risk assessments, and Electrical Safety.
- Spend significant time in production areas to ensure compliance with safety programs.

Work Environment
The facility is located in Columbus, NE, 40 minutes from Fremont, NE, and 1 hour from Elkhorn, NE. The manufacturing plant is clean, well-lit, and highly automated due to producing medical device products. Some parts of the building date back to the 1960s, with several expansions over the years. The office space is modern, featuring updated conference rooms with the newest technology for collaboration and individual cubicles. The dress code is casual, allowing polo shirts and jeans with tennis shoes. PPE will be provided prior to accessing the factory floor. The facility operates on a 7/4 - 8/5 schedule.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
