Job Description

Assemble and test complex mechanical/electrical systems in a cleanroom environment. Support process improvements, engineering testing, lean initiatives, and quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Produce products in accordance with established specifications and contribute to quality improvements.
• Manufacture and deliver high-level, complex systems according to established procedures and solve technical problems.
• Actively contribute to the pilot production process and the transition to volume production.
• Develop and improve processes, technical product documentation (TPD), and records.
• Acquire knowledge of products, processes, modifications, sub-modules, and complete systems.
• Support good teamwork by seeking solutions and implementing departmental tasks.
• Coordinate production plan activities and monitor the practical situation, including the use of tools, materials, and equipment.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
• Proficiency in testing, troubleshooting, and using hand tools.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Understanding of electronics, schematics, and test equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AS or BS Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Manufacturing internship or co-op experience.
• Lean Manufacturing Training (e.g., Intro to Lean, 5S, Kaizen, VSM) preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
