Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing work holding and cutting tool technology, leading small improvement projects, performing time studies, and assisting in the development of layouts and floorplans. The role also involves conducting tests, troubleshooting equipment, documenting test procedures and results, and writing work instructions. The Manufacturing Technician will participate in continuous improvement activities, develop routings using ERP systems, and create, modify, and maintain CNC programs and piece part routings. Additionally, the technician will assist machine operators with troubleshooting problems and new part programs and work closely with manufacturing engineers to justify new or replacement tooling, machines, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with manufacturing engineers to justify new or replacement tooling, machines, and equipment

Essential Skills

• 2 years of experience in assembly and/or welding
• Experience with ERP systems
• Experience with CAD software

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• AAS in Engineering field (nice to have)

Work Environment

The role is onsite and involves working closely with one other engineer daily. The Manufacturing Technician will oversee one of the new manufacturing lines and report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. The company is known for its great brand within St. Cloud and has a low turnover rate.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
