Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Designer to join our design team in Harleysville. You will work closely with a new construction management team, contributing to the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial buildings. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Design building HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Read and interpret HVAC and plumbing plans and specifications.
- Provide information to estimators relative to bid packages.
- Interact with customers to understand their building usage and internal processes to build systems that meet their needs.
- Document systems design in Revit.
- Perform engineering analysis work, including load calculations, equipment, pipe/duct sizing, etc.
- Build BIM/3D models and coordinate these models with both internal and external team members.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in the commercial construction engineering field.
- Experience with the BIM process, including software, document exchange, and project coordination.
- Experience with Revit.
- Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00
