Key Responsibilities

• Design internal and external transformer components, ensuring high-quality layouts and specifications.
• Perform calculations for dimensions, allowances, and specifications, optimizing efficiency and precision.
• Provide technical expertise and training to support the team and improve processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues, working closely with shop and QA personnel.
• Assist in development projects, mechanical optimization, and quote design support.
• Recommend and develop new procedures to enhance design efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of industry standards.
• Proficiency in mechanical drafting, industry regulations, and shop methods.
• Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and collaborate across teams.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, ProE, and PTC Creo.
• Independent decision-making ability, working under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Drafting and Design or related field.
• Experience with PTC Creo and SAP preferred.
