Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description
Develop and supply technical information of medium to high complexity, including 3D models, 2D detailed drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to communicate design intent to other groups such as Design Engineering, Tooling, Sourcing, Testing, Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Publications, and Industrial Design. Document and present technical information during design reviews, typically using CAD model presentations and manipulations for viewing and discussion.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and 2D detailed drawings.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) to communicate design intent.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering, Tooling, Sourcing, Testing, Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Publications, and Industrial Design teams.
- Document and present technical information during design reviews.
- Use CAD model presentations and manipulations for viewing and discussion.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Solidworks.
- Experience with sheet metal design.
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Solid sheet metal experience!!!
Work Environment
The position involves working with various technologies and equipment, including CAD software. The role may require collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate communication of design intent
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
