Job Title: Mechanical Designer

Job Description

The Mechanical Designer will complete design projects related to the updating of manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Complete design projects related to updating manufacturing equipment.
• Utilize Solidworks and CAD tools for machine design.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design compatibility and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment design.
• Conduct site visits and assessments on the manufacturing floor to evaluate and improve equipment designs.

Essential Skills

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (will consider associate's or no degree with sufficient experience)
• 5-10 years of machine design experience
• 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Solidworks and CAD tools
• Experience in a manufacturing environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the printing, laminating, or similar industry is a plus

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.88
