Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in the electro-mechanical products industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions on time, with a strong focus on research and development and new product implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design electro-mechanical products using SolidWorks, ensuring all designs meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Lead research and development initiatives to innovate and enhance product design.
• Oversee the new product implementation process, guiding projects from concept to commercialization.
• Create detailed engineering documentation, including design detailing, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve product design efficiency.
• Quickly learn and adapt to new processes and organizational structures.
• Utilize Epicor for effective project management and documentation control.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design within the electro-mechanical industry.
• Proven experience in research and development, and in successfully bringing products to market.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and design detailing.
• Ability to detail out accurately and efficiently all piece parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies, product levels, and data sheets.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Knowledge of D/P FMEA, DFM, and DFA.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Epicor for project management and documentation control.
• Ability to adapt to new processes and organizational structures quickly.
• High growth potential and adaptability over extensive experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $57.69/hr.
