Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Springfield, IL. This role involves integrating our services within our client's engineering operations as a long-term engineering services partner. The selected individual will be the primary liaison between our client and our team, coordinating and delivering all work order items outlined within any Statement of Work (SOW) for product development. The initial focus will be on taking ownership of all Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

Responsibilities

• Design and document all CAD files with tickets for engineering change orders
• Maintain records of work and delivery for all work orders
• Coordinate with offshore teams to support all ECOs
• Document and record all engineering standards for future training manuals and work instructions for internal use
• Coordinate with IT and Engineering to integrate our team within all required systems for seamless support

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Experience in mechanical engineering and mechanical design
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to coordinate with offshore teams

• Mechanical aptitude

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00
