Mechanical Engineer *Professional Engineer or EIT Required*
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) Certified Mechanical Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the installation of mechanical systems in large-scale construction projects. This role requires expertise in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Analyze Engineering Data to optimize system performance and sustainability.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate mechanical solutions into building designs.
- Ensure Compliance with local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
- Conduct Site Inspections to monitor construction progress and verify system installations.
- Oversee Testing and Commissioning of mechanical systems before project completion.
- Prepare Cost Estimates and project timelines to ensure budget adherence.
- Research and Implement new technologies and materials to enhance system performance.
- Train and Mentor junior engineers and field staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- PE Certification (Professional Engineer License) required.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
Health, Medical, Dental, HRA available 30 days after start date. PDF with specific information is available.

This is a fully onsite position in Wilkes Barre,PA.
