Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our small but dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling questions, data entry, and daily medical assistant (MA) duties. You will be entering requisitions for labs requested by the doctor using our proprietary system, with a future transition to Epic. This role requires certification and a strong commitment to reliability due to the small size of our office.

Responsibilities

• Handle questions and data entry for lab requisitions requested by the doctor.
• Perform daily MA duties, including rooming patients, clinical MA tasks, and calling for referrals.
• Float on Fridays to cover staffing gaps and ensure a 40-hour work week, without exceeding 40 hours per week.
• Schedule interviews directly with the designated point of contact.
• Exhibit high reliability and commitment to the office's operational needs.

Essential Skills

• Medical Assistant Diploma
• Experience in medical office procedures and internal medicine.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly Allscripts.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM- No weekends!

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00
