Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Ophthalmic Assistant to join our dynamic team at our split clinic locations. The candidate will work under the supervision of a distinguished physician and must be flexible with their schedule based on patient volume.

• Document physician visits in the EMR system
• Assist with handling medical instruments as requested by the physician
• Conduct patient work-ups after doctor visits
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures and treatments

Work Environment

The Ophthalmic Assistant will work under the direction of a leading physician cross-supporting our Schertz and Westover Hills clinic locations. Working hours start at 7:30am/8am until the last patient leaves. The team is very close-knit and welcoming, operating in an extremely fast-paced environment, handling 80-100 patients a day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
