MUST HAVE:
- Medical Coding Certification
Description:
- Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
- You will be working with one other coder.
- Primarily interacting directly with the insurance companies.
- Enter charges into the billing system for various services, including pathology.
- Badge the charges and ensure they are accurately entered into the system.
- Balance the entries and bill them out to the clearing house.
- Once the charges return from the clearinghouse, review for any errors in the codes.
- Follow up on claims with insurance companies to ensure timely processing.
- Perform extensive data entry and typing tasks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00
