Actalent is currently hiring Medical Scribes in Houston, Texas.

(This clinic is one of the largest, and considered the premier retina facility in the nation. They have 14 physicians who are recruited form the top of their classes of the top 5 schools in the nation. They are also working with high level clinical research trials which is a potential progression of career for these Medical Scribes. Career progression to grow into their clinical research department if they desire to and get hands on with one of the most prestigious research teams.)

 

Job Description:

• Document physician visits in the EMR system.
• In person patient care and scribing for multiple physicians.
• Handle instruments when requested by physicians.
• Conduct work-ups after doctor visits with patients.
• Communicate with patients and explain procedures/treatments.
• Monday to Friday 8 hour day shift.
• Work on a team of 8-24 individuals.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in science with 1 year of in person medical scribe experience. Or at least 1 year of ON-SITE scribing experience.
• Bilingual in SPANISH is a MUST HAVE.
• Flexible to travel and support other clinics in their region.
