Job Description

The role of a Clinical Medical Assistant is to provide care and education to patients, following established standards and practices. You will update patient charts in EMR systems, document changes, and coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care. Additionally, you will be responsible for restocking rooms.

Essential Skills

• Medical assisting experience
• Customer service and people skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Proficiency in systems like NextGen and Epic
• Patient access management

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting, or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program
• History of stable employment and favorable references

Work Environment

You will work in a clinical setting with specialties open for OBGYN, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, and Dermatology.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• The dress code is scrubs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
