We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license and experience in bacteriology. While prior microbiology experience is preferred, we are open to considering newly minted technologists with relevant intern or clinical experience in microbiology.
Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare samples for analysis.
- Isolate and identify microorganisms through staining, culturing, and testing.
- Analyze microbial growth patterns.
Essential Skills
- NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license

Work Environment
You will be working in a private medical lab located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Each shift comprises 1-2 technologists and 3-4 lab aides. The day shift hours are from 6 am to 2 pm or 8 am to 4 pm. There will be a training period of 1-2 months, after which you will be required to work one weekend each month. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $99840.00 - $114400.00
