Construction Project Manager

Job Description

The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, with a particular focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. This role requires a deep understanding of MEP systems, project management principles, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans.
• Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MEP systems during construction.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring clarity and accountability.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
• Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Address any deficiencies promptly and effectively.

• OSHA 10 certification
• 5 years of MEP Commercial Construction Project Management experience

• Experience with commercial plumbing systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
