Job Description
Partner with the R&D team by developing, validating, and transferring analytical methods. The main products change frequently, requiring the creation of new analytical methods regularly. This role requires conceptual thinking throughout the development process, analyzing produced data, and making necessary adjustments to create scientifically sound methods. Primary focus areas include HPLC method development, TLC method development, and USP raw materials identification. You will utilize software with access to the USP Raw Materials identification library of testing methods. Experience with regulatory processes is a significant plus. This position is within a GMP contract manufacturing organization focusing on nutraceuticals and cosmetics.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods.
- Create new analytical methods frequently due to changing products.
- Think conceptually throughout the development process.
- Analyze data and make adjustments to create scientifically sound methods.
- Focus on HPLC method development, TLC method development, and USP raw materials identification.
- Utilize software with access to the USP Raw Materials identification library of testing methods.

Work Environment
This role is within a cosmetic and nutraceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). The lab is equipped with various instruments, including GC, FTIR, and UV-vis. The schedule is very flexible, typically M-F 8 am-5 pm, but can be adjusted as needed since this role is not part of production. The company is privately owned, allowing individuals to take ownership of outcomes and make a significant impact quickly. The work environment is constantly evolving with a frequently changing product portfolio, offering opportunities to contribute to developing quality infrastructure.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $50.48/hr.
