Job Title: Microbiologist

Job Description

Provide microbiology support to enable product release on time. Perform microbiology QC analyses in accordance with USP methods, including Total Aerobic and Anaerobic Plate Count, Total Yeast and Mold Count, Pathogen Screening, Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing, Suitability Testing, and Gram Staining. Maintain the laboratory by performing media preparation, growth promotional tests, stock culture maintenance, and basic housekeeping tasks. Apply Good Laboratory Practice and ensure accurate data recording for all lab QC test-related activities.

Essential Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in Microbiology.
• Familiarity with basic microbiology testing including media preparation, plating, and culture samples.
• Degree in Biology or Microbiology.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, OTC, personal care, or food industry is ideal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with USP methods and criteria is a plus.
• Prior experience with cGMP, GLP, and GDP is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00
