Job Title: Microbiology Analyst

Job Description

The Microbiology Analyst will be responsible for performing test programs for the microbiology lab, maintaining lab equipment, executing quality control program requirements, monitoring and maintaining inventory, scheduling and sending samples to contract laboratories, learning to cover pathogen lab duties, and handling special projects as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in life sciences field (must have)
• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or other related field (preferred)
• 2 years of microbiology experience in a GMP/food company with pathogen testing experience (preferred)

Work Environment

The position operates in a pathogen laboratory and office environment. The working hours are 7am-3:30pm or 6:30am-3pm, alternating every week.

Week 1: Monday-Friday

Week 2: Monday-Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
