Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Engineer with extensive experience in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging engineering, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in packaging design software. This role involves ensuring compliance with UDI regulations and managing product configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging solutions for medical devices.
• Ensure compliance with UDI regulations and direct marking requirements.
• Manage product configuration and labeling processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets quality and regulatory standards.
• Utilize packaging design software and tools to create efficient and effective packaging solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of packaging designs and processes.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in packaging engineering within the medical device industry.
• Strong knowledge of UDI compliance and direct marking requirements.
• Experience with product configuration management.
• Proficiency in packaging design software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in labeling software.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in related fields.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
