Party Chief

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled surveyor to join our team. We welcome surveyors from various backgrounds, excluding oil and gas, as well as CAD technicians with knowledge of plot plan designs, survey equipment, and survey standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of survey experience. Our work primarily involves boundary and construction staking, PLS, ALTA surveys, and managing survey crews. Responsibilities

• Conduct boundary and construction staking surveys.
• Perform PLS and ALTA surveys.
• Manage and operate survey crews.
• Utilize survey equipment and adhere to survey standards.
• Create plot plan designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
• Work independently as a party chief, managing one-man crews.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of survey experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of topographic and land surveys.
• Experience in land development and boundary surveys.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a party chief with 2-3 years of experience.
• Ability to transition into more office work in the next few years.
• Familiarity with survey equipment and standards.
• Willingness to learn new software if currently experienced with Trimble.

Work Environment

Our team operates out of an office in Colorado with a team of 8 members. Fieldwork will involve reporting directly to the project site. Consultants are provided with a company vehicle and gas card. We guarantee 40 hours per week, even in winter, with opportunities for CAD training in the office. We have a significant backlog of work with 1200 lots ready for development. Employees can also use unsold homes for vacation rentals when they travel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
