Permit Specialist - Louisville, KY

Job Description

We are actively hiring a Permit Specialist in Louisville, KY! As a Permit Specialist, you will support the Permitting needs of a full-service Engineering firm that specializes in design services for Power Utilities and Telecom projects. This is a smaller local team that works with a variety of clients and values promoting from within. This person can expect an emphasis on professional development and growth within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work with a team of about 20-25 team members as the organization continues to grow with a steady pipeline of work and a strong investment backing.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for receiving permitting requests, drawing requests in AutoCAD 2D, and submitting them for approval. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and quality control to ensure successful project completion. Specific tasks include:

• Receive permitting requests from clients
• Create and draw requests in AutoCAD 2D
• Submit completed drawings to supervisors for approval
• Perform self-quality control and assurance on all projects

Job Requirements

• 2 years of experience with AutoCAD 2D
• Experience in Telecommunications

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Permitting experience
• Associate's degree or higher
• Applicable certifications

Work Environment

This position requires working in the office from Monday to Friday, with a standard 40-hour work week. You will work in an open office environment with multiple monitors and a laptop provided. The company values growth and promotion from within, creating a supportive and stable work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
